It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Mineola had no problem doing just that on Friday.
They had just enough and edged out the Gunter Tigers 7-6. The win was nothing new for the Yellowjackets as they're now sitting on four straight.
Mineola's victory bumped their record up to 26-7-2. As for Gunter, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 28-9.
Mineola Lady Jackets advance to the Regional Final to face Whitesborro in Caddo Mills on Thursday at 6 PM , Friday 6 PM and The "if" game Saturday at 1 pm.
